作为课题负责人先后主持国家自然科学基金项目(5项)、国家863课题(2项)、国家重点研发计划子课题、北京市科技计划课题、北京化工大学高层次引进人才启动项目、横向课题等,作为骨干成员参加国家973、国家863等课题多项。
长期从事先进化学电源与能源材料的研究与开发,兼任中国超级电容产业联盟副秘书长、材料电化学过程与技术北京市重点实验室副主任、Nano-Micro Letters 编委和Chinese Chemical Letters编委。发表SCI论文130余篇,其中在Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Energy Letters, Nano Energy等影响因子大于10的期刊发表论文30余篇,总引用9000余次,H因子49。申请国家发明专利30余件,已授权22件,获全国优秀博士学位论文提名和省部级科技进步二等奖2项。
