摘要:An epoxy resin is filled with carbon quantum dots (CQDs) leading to highly transparent and luminescent nanocomposites. The CQDs are modified to bear carboxyl groups on the surface (denoted as CQDs@COOH), which made the CQDs may participate in the curing reaction of the epoxy and homogeneously disperse in the matrix. As a result, the light scattering is avoided and transparency of the filled epoxy is enhanced. Besides, the CQDs@COOH-filled epoxy also exhibit better UV and thermal stabilities than traditional CdSe-QDs/epoxy system.
