报告人简介：

         Walter has 42 years of R&D experience using state-of-the-science instrumentation to solve basic and applied technical problems on materials for the tire industry. Education: B.S. Chemistry, U. of Illinois at Chicago; Ph.D. Chemistry, U. of Houston; and Research Associate in Chemistry, Columbia U. Experience: Associate Professor of Chemistry, Carnegie-Mellon U.; Section Head in Research, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company; Sr. Scientist in Silica, PPG Industries; Sr. Research Associate in Polymers Technology, ExxonMobil Chemical Co.; and is currently a Senior Technology Consultant. He is an inventor with 37 patents, 5 trade secrets, 154 publications, 163 presentations at scientific meetings, universities and government organizations, and presented a one-week ‘Tire Technology Training Course’ at Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
